Expecting and reading

When you read something, you're not focusing on anything, until you see a movement, and you react to it, but when you expect something, you're still playing how you should be, but you're aware of the fact that they might jump in. Always expect something, but don't always go for reads, because they may not turn out in your favor..

Hm, that's a good point. I think there's a good application of that for myself in that. I rely on reads a lot. Possibly too much, so to work on my "expectation skills" would probably do me a world of good. I think Zangief players have to rely on reads more than most other characters, just because of the limited options. Great topic.

Yea, same with cammy. She has to read pokes and ics to counter... Mostly, if you're playing someone good enough in the footsie department.
