My question is intended towards Street Fighter, but definitely has relevance in the real world as well. So, what is it that determines a person's potential? Some thoughts that I had regarding potential would be things like, but not limited to: ambition, talent, humility, willingness, and discipline. Ambition, because without it, well you'd never have played seriously to start. Then talent...this one is more tricky. I feel that some people have an excellent disposition or natural ability, which definitely gives them more potential as a player. However, to the other end, there are some who aren't talented, but work incredibly hard to become better (this reasoning meshes with all of the other attributes.) Then the other things like willingness, discipline and humility, these are, in my opinion the most important. Without these three no one would ever be great, and should not be capable of growing significantly as a player. With practical use, and a sound use of these things, I feel that someone can reach an incrdibly high potential. That's what I think, how about you guys?
